FRANCE EU Borders are open

L'Hotel de Herce is open for resevations from EU & UK guests,  due to uncertanity of travel,

full refunds will be given upto 24 hours prior to your stay, if  you find your unable to travel.


Europeans can now travel from one country to another, due to the decline of the Covid-19. Borders between France, Germany,  Belgium ,  Switzerland , Austria, Greece, Spain  are open.

Please ensure you have a mask available to wear if required as condition of entry

  • L'Hotel de Herce is open for Summer holiday bookings from 1 August.

  • Open- Chambre d'Hotes, Gites, Hotels, Camping sites, Resorts

  • Open - Cafes and restaurants in Paris  across France

  • Open - Museums and monuments  nationwide, face masks must be worn.

  • Open - Public Parks and Gardens 

  • Open - Cinemas & Theatres

  • Open - Shops and supermarkets and most business, Business may request masks are worn. 

  • Large gatherings are still banned, where the virus could spread.

Updates will be posted as new announcements are made by UK and French Gov. 

L'Hotel de Herce is open for resevations from UK Guests, with full refunds, until 24hours prior to your stay, if travel directives are changed. 

From Monday 15 June:

  • Arrivals from the UK, and from outside the EU are asked to self-isolate for 14 days on arrival in mainland France. Full details  are set out in a Ministry of Interior statement in English.

  • Uk Gov advises you should take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance for all travel to France .

  • UK Nationals are required to Self Isolate for 14 days on returning to the UK from France. 

  • Untill further notice is given, French Borders are still closed to non EU residental travellers, there is a ban on entering from outside the EU to all of the countries in the world except, the United-Kingdom, Andorra, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, and Switzerland . French nationals or permanent residents of France can however continue to access the French territory.

We have implemented all recommended COVERT19 health and safety procedures, ensuring your visit is not only relaxing but safe. 

Our committment to you is

  • Guest rooms will be aired and rested for 24hours between bookings

  • New COVERT19 standard cleaning products will be used

  • Rooms decluttered to minimize surface contact points

  • Move to single use guest toiletries

  • Supply of hand sanitizer,

  • In room guest hand soaps and paper towels 

  • Bathrobes will be available wrapped on request 

  • New pillow protectors

  • Super-hot wash laundering as per hotel standards 

  • Breakfast will be time booked for each room to dine privately

  • Options for guest to enjoy complimentary coffee or tea and not take breakfast
